Less than 30 minutes from Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, the Town of Arnprior is located where the Madawaska River meets the Ottawa River. The Town of Arnprior is ideal for vacationers and for people interested in small town life. It is a great place to raise a family or to live a leisurely life of retirement. We have the best of both worlds, small town neighbors and close proximity to the city life offered in the region of Ottawa-Carleton. Arnprior is a progressive community with the right combination of residential, commercial and industrial components. This is probably why so many top 500 companies, including General Electric, Arnprior Aerospace Inc. and Pfizer have chosen to locate in the Town of Arnprior. With the expansion of the TransCanada Highway 17 to four lanes to Arnprior, the possibilities are unlimited. Our beautiful community has several historical landmarks together with the many required modern conveniences, including shopping, recreation, restaurants, watersport facilities, and beaches, just to name a few.
Come to Arnprior to live, visit or set up a business – you will not find a more receptive community!
